Hello, after updating SH404SEF i have the same problem like I had last year (#5933: Changed font size). Is it possible to get the older Version you builded to fix that problem? Kind Regards!

Hi,

All changes that were made at the time are included in the current version (it's in the changelog for version 4.17.0), there's really nothing to go back to.

Have you tried simply purging all Joomla caches?

Best regards

Hi,

"Have you tried simply purging all Joomla caches?" Yes I have cleaned the Cache many times. Before I only installed the Update to the newest Version and now the font size is again big. What can I do?

Best regards

Hi

Could you please provide us with superadmin credentials to your website. You can create a temporary account, and delete it afterward, but it must have superuser level.

Thanks and regards

Hi

Looks like the credentials do not work.

Hi again,

Sorry but you're running an outdated version of K2. Are you sure the K2 bug we had to workaround last time has not been fixed?

Best regards

I tried with the new K2 and had the same issue.

Hi

So after spending again quite a bit of time, I found that the root problem is that K2 does not clean the content when using its K2Splitter content tag. And so it incorrectly decides on the CSS class to be assigned (only IntroText or fullText) if there are some leftover spaces or new lines in the content. I removed those that were caused by sh404SEF so this seems ok now. What should be done is them cleaning the content (with a simple trim) . Their solution is brittle and will break again in the future depending on which plugins you use for instance.

For now it's running fine (installed a dev version on your site), will be available in a minute under the download area.

Best regards

Hello and thank you again for your help. So what do you think I should do, to find a solid solution for that problem? Unfortunately I don't understand the problem completely.

Best regards!

Hi

You use the latest dev version, to be released publicly in the next few days, and you'll be good. That's what's running on your site now as I installed it.

I was merely pointing out that K2 method of deciding whether to use that specific CSS class (which on your template results in having all that bolded text) is not reliable and will surely be broken again at some point by some other extension. Current sh404SEF dev version does work fine and again you should be good from now on.

Best regards
