I changes the configuration of the google account to allow less secure apps. But even with that its not working.

How can i fix it?

Thanks

Hi

Assuming the username and passwords are fine, this usually comes from Google blocking what they think is "unusual" requests.
Usually, you are in one city, but the server hosting your account maybe somewhere else, so when sh404SEF, running on your server, try to connect to your google account, its location is unknown and is blocked.

Here is a small text we had which usually worked fine:

One security feature that many online services include to protect your accounts from being hacked is to detect the location from which you are logging into your account.

When Analytics are enabled in sh404SEF®, Google may detect the location of your hosting server as a "unusual location".

In this case you should receive an email from Google with instructions to authorize this login, if the email didn't come or you have missed it you can follow the procedure below as advised by Google in that email at https://support.google.com/mail/answer/14257?p=client_login&;rd=1

1 - From that page the important part that will get likely get your account reauthorized is https://www.google.com/accounts/DisplayUnlockCaptcha

2 - Follow any instruction at the above link

3 - Clear the Joomla cache in the Joomla Administrator (System - Clear Cache in Joomla 3, Site - Maintenance - Clear Cache in Joomla 2.5)

4 - Try to view reports in sh404SEF® (repeat clear cache if required)

However, if you're not in an immediate rush, I'd suggest you wait a few days. We will release very soon a new version of sh404SEF where Analytics connection has been reworked entirely, and will use oAuth2 instead of username/password, so all these kind of issues should disappear.

Rgds
