 Hi,

Sorry to bother you again. sh404SEF and OSMAP is not a good mariage. That's because OSMAP is a dynamical sitemap and needs to be called via a link like "component/osmap/?view=xml&id=1". When I try to open this sitemap, sh404SEF seems to cut the URL at the first "&". I can not find a work-around to solve this problem.

With regards,

Seems that this can be solved with enabeling "301 redirect Joomla SEF to sh404SEF"

Hi

Please revert this setting to its original value. The Joomla router does some very bad things (that's one of the reasons for sh404SEF) and this setting should nearly never be used as it introduce back some negative SEO effects.

Not at all, it's a very common one.

There is no problem. You are simply not using the correct URL.

The only issue in OSMap is they do not provided the correct URL to reach their sitemap, or rather they only provide the correct URL if using the stock Joomla SEF. I hope one day they will correctly do this and provide the correct URL in all cases but it's been a long standing issue with them.

So to reach your sitemap just visit: yoursite.com/index.php?option=com_osmap&view=xml&id=1

You can also create a custom SEF URL for it in the SEF URL manager:

- click the "New" button
- Enter:

SEF: sitemap
non-sef: index.php?option=com_osmap&view=xml&id=1

After doing this you'll be able to reach your sitemap with yoursite.com/sitemap

Best regards
