 Hello dear developers,
I changed my site from http to https. But google shows:

User-declared as canonical: httP://xxxx.uz

Canonical URL is not in property.

Should I make any changes in ch404SEF?

Hi

Should I make any changes in ch404SEF?
Depends if you manually created canonicals in sh404SEF and created them using http:// instead of https://

If you manually created such canonicals in sh404SEF then you need to change them to the https version.

sh404SEF will not itself create such canonicals. Most likely you need to change the domain settings in Joomla SEF system plugin so that it shows the https version of your domain.

Best regards

Thank you!
I find that in my Joomla SEF system plugin it shows httP://...
I changed it. No in my page view source I see httpS//:...
Is it enough for google search console to set my canonical?
Or should I change something in sh404Sef?

Hi

I'm a bit puzzled. Why do you want sh404SEF to have anything to do with this? the problem was in your Joomla configuration. You fixed your Joomla configuration and now you have the desired canonical in your pages. Again, what does all of this has to do with sh404SEF?

Best regards

Sorry for making you puzzled. I'm so bad in SEO configurations so I do not understand what and how shoud I setup in sh404SEO.
So I thought that after migrating to https I should make some changes in sh404SEO.
As I understand from you post for the now I do not need any setting changes.
Thank you.
