 hi. im changing some urls structure.
google has indexed urls i just changed.. and i want them to redirect to new.. but. it seems i cant. because sh404 do 2 non-standard things..

1. it dont open correct url with 404 error but shows some ../Table/ url..
for example.. this is the old url. its also shows on google serp - https://www.xxxx.sk/zmrzlinove-stroje/stroje-na-ladovu-drt/
if you open it you get https://www.xxxx.sk/Table/

2. sh404 dont record me these openings of old urls in 404 records.. so i cant redirect them to the new urls..

whats could be wrong?
i use latest joomla and latest sh404..

please let me know how to solve this..

ok. i making some uninstall and cleanings and somehow it seems it all works now.. no /Table/ url and 404 are recorded correctly.
if i will have any issues i will post again.

Hi

sh404SEF does not do that. It could happen IF:

- you have enabled "Try to auto-redirect 404" in sh404SEF error page configuration.
- you have enabled "301 redirect from Joomla SEF to sh404SEF" under the Advanced tab of sh404SEF configuration
- you have selected "Use Joomla router" for even just one single component, any component, under the "By component" tab of sh404SEF configuration.

Be sure that all those settings are reverted to their default values. Unfortunately, many templates also come with 404 redirects features which can do that sort of bad things but of course it depends on your template.

If a redirect happens, then there's no 404 happening and so there's nothing to record so that's expected given what you explained in #1
