hello can you help me on my yootheme zoo? i would like to remove the category on my url and the item.

i was able to do this before but forgot how to do it again after the update.

heres my problem

http://www.site.com/category/books i dont want it i want this URL instead
http://www.site.com/books

and then on items url looks like this http://www.site.com/items/harry-potter
since harry potter is under books category i want this url instead

http://www.site.com/books/harry-potter

before what i do to accomplish this is go to COMPONENT tab but now i dont know where to go, pls help.

Also is there any known issues using admin mytools from akeeba together with sh404sef?

Hi

We do not provide support specifically for Zoo, so I wouldn't be able to help you there. For most extensions, including Zoo, either the developers provide an sh404SEF-specific plugin, or sh404SEF uses the extension router.php file. In the latter case, however, customization and performance is limited.
I know there are also 3rd-party sh404SEF plugins available, including for Zoo. You can find them at http://extensions.joomla.org/category/extension-specific/sh404sef-extensions

As for admin tools, I'm not sure what you are referring to, admin tools has many features. If you think about Admin tools features related to .htaccess, sh404SEF doesn't care about the .htaccess itself, it only needs a working URL rewriting. So if URL rewriting works, we're happy.
