Hi

1 - I have tested quite a few many things to no avail. It's not only the canonical, but even changing the page title is not reflected. I added "Test" to the page title of /blog/ and it was not reflected in the page content.

2 - I can see that you have some HTML optimization happening on the site, by a 3rd party (It's not JCH Optimize doing it, I disabled it and the HTML was still optimized).
It seems you are using Sucuri: do they only scan for security or did you enable some form of caching/optimization on their side as well?

NB: I disabled "URL source recording": this is a debugging feature which will log a lot of data, it should not be left enabled for long period of times on live sites.
