 Hi,

I've installed 404sef version (com_sh404sef_4.13.1.3756_j3_full.zip) on a Joomla 3.8.3

A lot of plugins are missing and I get error : sh404SEF requires the shLib system plugin to be enabled, but you appear to have disabled it. Please enable it again!

See attachment.

Hi

Indeed without all its plugin, sh404SEF cannot operate at all. It looks like somehing went wrong either in the upload process or during installation. I would suggest the following:

1 - download a new copy from our site , as the file may have been damaged during download as well, althoug unlikley
2 - Do NOT try to uninstall sh404SEF, the shLLib plugin is required for that.
3 - Go to Joomla configuration and set "Error reporting" to "Maximum"
4 - Install over the newly downloaded version. Take note or do a screenshot of any error message you get during the install process.

Hi,
I still get an error, just a little bit different:

I've solved with:
  1. akeeba backup
  2. installed site on my local machine
  3. removed 404sef from everywhere: filesystem php file, media, db tables, records related to 404sef in other tables and so on
  4. installed 404sef on this cleaned web site
I really don't know, this is the very first time I have such kind of problems with 404sef

Hi

Yes, that's because it's not coming from sh404SEF - we really have no impact on this installation procedure, it's just Joomla copying files around and copying things into the database. Most likely there's an issue (permissions related) on your hosting setup.
