I've set the social buttons plugin to only show in the news category and I have the component configuration settings set to "no" for "enable on all pages" but the social share buttons show up on all pages. Not sure if this will be public when I send it, so I'm not going to include login info, but here's a link to the site's development server:

If I see that there's an option to post private, I'll send login info. If not, let me know how I can get that info to you if needed. Thanks.

Hi

and I have the component configuration settings set to "no" for "enable on all pages"
That's unrelated to social buttons. This is about marking up the page with OGP tags and Twitter cards tags, which is beneficial for sharing pages, whether the sharing is done by your own buttons or by people around the web. You should probably leave that enabled.

the social share buttons show up on all pages.
First thing is to (re)set Only on canonical pages to yes, so that buttons don't show on category pages and other such pages, but only on the article own URL.

I have done that on your site, and that seems to make everything behave as expected. Please confirm.

PS: all posts are fully private. We sometimes pick a few and make them public if they have content useful to the community. We of course remove any private information when doing that.
