Hi there,

Recently Google started displaying longer SERPs. Please refer here for more details: https://moz.com/blog/googles-longer-snippets

However, the meta-description limit in sh404sef is 255 characters. I have now modified this by changing the config and updating the database structure (more chars). This works fine, but I think it is worth considering changing this limit in future releases or making it configurable.

Hi

That will be in next release, very soon. It's a minor change as you mentioned. Please be aware that this change only apply to Google. Bing for instance still recommends only 160 characters.
