Hello;

Do you plan to develop something allowing native Joomla URLs to be automatically redirect to sh404SEF URLs ?
I think it will be a great way to develop the sh404SEF success which can not be use once a website is already indexed by Google (if there are too much URLs).

Best regards.

Hi

My initial attempts at that where not successful, ie it was not reliable. It's something I have in mind, especially after working on the new redirector features that just went out (and which already allow generic redirects).

Could you test things on rather large site if I were to provide a test version?

Thanks for you reply.

I could test on a website which have approximatively 100-200 URLs, and give you also an access on a staging copy of this website.

Hi

I have done a first version that looks good. You can download it from the development versions download area. After installing, you need to check if that feature is enabled under the "Advanced" tab of sh404SEF configuration, ie "301 redirect from Joomla SEF to sh404SEF" should be set to Yes.

You can then try to load some original Joomla URLs for a page and check they are indeed redirected.

Hello,

We made tests under a website with Joomla blog articles and HikaShop.
Redirections works perfectly.

We will make new tests soon with maybe a production job.

Thanks again.

Regards.
