So I just tried to update to the new version because I was looking forward to learning all about the new redirect functions and got the following error:

Undefined class constant 'COM_SH404SEF_URLTYPE_ALIAS_CUSTOM'

Do I need to try and install manually, perhaps?

Let me know what diagnostic info you need and I will be happy to provide. Here is my system info:

UPDATE: It seems that new version did, in fact, install. I currently have version 4.12.0.3715 running.

I wonder what that error message meant?

Hi

We have no such report, and we already have updated a number of sites ourselves.

1 - I understand that your site was already running sh404SEF, which version did you have?
2 - Do you have other extensions from us, Josetta or wbAMP?
3 - When exactly and where did you see this? is this the full message? was there not any file name and line number mentioned in the error message?

1. The previous version I was running was 4.11.0.3643
2. No other extensions from you.
3. That was the full message. It came up when I did the auto update in Joomla! I should have taken a screenshot.

I guess it's all water under the bridge at this point since apparently the update worked. Can you post a direct link to the tutorial on the new redirect feature?

Thanks a lot!

Ralph

Hi

It's all from the blog post for general rules, and in the documentation of course.
