 Good evening,

I have just moved my Joomla Site to a new web host. I am unable to access SH404Sef due to the following message "The file shlib.xml could not be found."

I have tried reinstalling the extension, but this does not solve the issue for me. Can you please advise?

Hi

It means you have only partially move your site from the old server to the new, you are missing some files.

Currently shLib is marked as installed by Joomla, but some parts of it are missing. When you install again sh404SEF, it does not try to install again shLib, because Joomla says it's already installed.

I would suggest that you download the shLib system plugin from this page and install it.

This should fix the error message you see.

Be aware however that if this file is missing, more can be missing as well, whether in Joomla, sh404SEF, shLib or other extensions . Maybe you can try figure out first why shLib files have not been copied over to the new host?
