Hi

This version is too old to be updated that way, as some update servers change occured about a year ago. Can you please simply download the file and install it normally, using the Joomla updater (the file is just above 2MB) ?

Hi

Loose data? updating with one-click or uploading the file is exactly the same. The Joomla click-to-update function ust download the file for you but the update process is exactly the same.

You can just install any sh404SEF version over an old one, this will perform the update (inside a main Joomla version. Do no install a Joomla 2 version of sh404SEF on a Joomla 3 site, or vice versa).
