Hello Yannick,

If i click on my home button (root), sh404sef redirect to a page about-your-home-page.html, why? This is the root / page.

On the backend i see that the componente create an SEF=URL, how can i configure sh404SEF correctly, without create an url to the root page?

Hi

sh404SEF only translates URL from non-sef to sef, so what it outputs depends on the non-sef urls that Joomla created, or that was added in the menu or in the template for this button.

But from your "backend_about_your_home_page.png" image, I can already tell your there is a language configuration issue on the site, because all the language information are missing. You can see that all the non-sef urls have "...&lang=&view=article".

This should be something like: "...&lang=de&view=article". Is this a multilingal site? even if it's only one language, you should inspect the Joomla "Language manager" menu, then "Content" sub-menu (see: https://weeblr.com/images/screenshots/dF15wH6GE5oJEZsc6GQIFkVWBjLWFs.png)

Of course:

1. Make sure you use latest Joomla!
2. Make sure you use latest sh404SEF (4.4.8).
