Greetings,

The list "ALL" option does not work. It immediatly reverts to 20 items. You can list 100 and get 100; however, there is no pageination for any quatity. It would seem to me that If you have more than the list key, in this case 20, I should see pageination at the bottom to move to another page of 20 just as Joomla! does. See my screen shots:

[xxxx]  - 20 items selected
[xxxx] - Bottom of the page with 20 selected, there is no pageination to move to the next set of 20.

This occurs everywhere there is a list of items in sh404SEF. Is this a bug?

Hi

The list "ALL" option does not work. It immediatly reverts to 20 items.
That's expected. It is not possible or safe to choose to display all urls on the URL manager, as this can kill the MYSQL server if you have many URLs stored or if you server is not big enough. So the All option is disabled. Unfortunately, Joomla doesn't allow removig this option from the list.

This occurs everywhere there is a list of items in sh404SEF. Is this a bug?
Not a known one, and it's not been reported. Here is a standard sh404SEF page:

The pagination is either fixed at the top, or scrolling with the page at the bottom, depending on the screen size.

I would assume there's something on the site interfering with our javascript.

Could you please provide us with superadmin credentials to your website. You can create a temporary account, and delete it afterwards, but it must have superuser level.

Thanks and regards

Hi

It seems you have replied by email at [email protected]? This email address is not used for support, and not read by the same persons, so it delays processing a lot, as you can see.

Hi

So you just hit reply? normally, that should auto create a post on this ticket thread, assuming you replied with the email address that you used to register here.
When you do that, the email address you reply to should be [email protected].

The messages you sent were sent to [email protected], and thus were not picked up by the ticket system.

Can you confirm when you receive a notification of this message that hitting reply goes to [email protected]? or to [email protected]?

Also, which email client do you use? Gmail? Outlook? Apple Mail?...

I logged in and found out that this happens as you have selected to display the Status bar at the top of the page, instead of the more common (and Joomla default) "fixed at the bottom".
Returning this setting (in the admin template) to its default value restores the correct display.

I will check if there is something that can be done about this, probably disable entirely the "Fixed layout" we use normally, which is much more convenient IMHO, and just use a standard Joomla layout when admin has selected this option.

Ah... it seems that these responses from you guys are coming from <[email protected]> on both my outstanding tickets. I use Office 365 and the Outlook local Client. I also have a Windows Phone and it shows "[email protected]" as well. Going forward, I will not reply via email.

On to the issue...

I'm sorry, but you have lost me on the "status bar" display setting. To be honest, I haven't changed this nor do I even know where you would. This Joomla! installation is years old and has just been upgraded as Joomla! itself upgraded through the years.

Hi

OK, I will investigate the issue with tickets...

THe position of the status bar is a setting in your admin template:
[xxxx]
Since Joomla 2.x, everybody's using the "Fixed at bottom" position, but in your case, for some reason it's set to display the status bar at the top. This hit an issue in sh404SEF, as we have a very special design for our backend page, where most of the page is fixed, with the pagination being moved near the top.

Resetting the "Status module position" template option to "Fixed at the bottom" gives you the standard sh404SEF output, which is the preferred and most convenient one.
I have done just that, please check out the pages display.

If you prefer changing this back to "Top", I have made some tweaks to our current development version so that we revert to standard display in such case. I have tried to install this latest dev version on your site, but that failed, with an error message:
[xxxx]which seems to indicate there are permissions issues on the server. I don't know how you updated sh404SEF, probably through the one-click updater.

So I'll leave it like that for now.

Thanks,

Honestly I don't see any difference in the status bar display; but I have pageination now so I'm good. As far as installing sh404SEF, I did just what you did. The .tmp folder is writeable. Unless I have any other issues with the subject of this ticket, we can close it.

The other issue with Google Analytics is still open.

Thanks for your help.
