 Hello,

I'm not sure how to modify these URLs. Here's some examples:

2015-04-15-17-47-22/2014-06-28-15-46-14.html
2015-04-15-17-47-22/the-apps.html
2015-04-15-17-47-22/the-apps/xojo.html

When I modify them or delete them they seem to keep coming back. I'm not sure where that date prefix is coming from? It looks like a Joomla thing. On the last item in the list there is a "proper" URL and it is "the-apps/xojo.html". Can I make a reference to that?

Thanks, I'm not sure what to do with these.

Hi

When I modify them or delete them they seem to keep coming back.
This means your site is creating bundles of duplicates non-sef URLs for the same content. Normally, sh404SEF catch all those duplicates for you, and turn them all into one single SEF URL.
Now if you start manually customizing some of them, we can't catch the duplicates anymore and you start seeing them all. Either you don't customize URLs with duplicates, or you customize them all.

Thanks, that makes sense. While learning how to work with sh404SEF I did customize some. Probably not too many. Would the easiest way to get out of this be to eliminate the customizations?

This is a powerful product and I want to learn how to work with it.

Thanks!

Hi

Yes, the simplest is to delete the customization, meaning all the duplicates will be grouped together under the same SEF URL (duplicates count are listed under the "Duplicates" column in the URL manager, and clicking on that count opens a popup that list those non-sef duplicates).
