I saw in post #891 that deleting a url, does not delete them, and they get re-generated. My problem is that is some of these URLs produced by Joomla goes to content that i do not want available to users. I thought this component could help me with that. Do you know a way to make the deleting permanent?

Hi

There is no deleting. URLs are created by Joomla regardless of whether sh404SEF is installed on your site or not. If sh404SEF is installed, we record them, and you can seem them. But we have no bearing on the actual creation of non-sef urls by Joomla or extensions running on your site.

I thought this component could help me with that
We totally do, and you are most likely entirely protected from any SEO issue coming from Joomla generated multiple URLs for the same content. As long as you see a "Duplicates" count in the URL manager, everything is OK and you are protected.

It is good to see a list of duplicates in the URL manager, it means sh404SEF recognized those duplicates and is only showing the outside world one single SEf URL.
