 Hi !
I have upgraded to j3.6.2 : www.xxxx.com
the sh404 have been making really weird things. Some URL assigned erratically. For exemple in my main menu the "home" link is being assigned a false URL which leads to 404 page :/. Mostly thigns like /en/en/ or /fr/en/ or likewise.

Also the "language" links are assigned to "random" links and "catalog" item on my main menu.
I have tried to make it work but I was unable and I had to disable the SEF urls alltogether :/

How can this be fixed ?

Please let me know if you need admin access
many thanks,
best,

pedro

Hi

Yes, Joomla made a change in version 3.6.1 causing this. We didn't see it in our testing before they released it because it only happens on some multilingual sites, that have a specific ordering of system plugins. Our 2 multilingual test sites didn't show any issue.

There are 2 solutions:

- go to the Joomla plugins manager, and change the plugins ordering so that the Joomla language filter system plugin is located before the sh404SEF system plugin.
- download and install the current development version, from the development versions - download area, which should change the plugins order for you (but has more features and changes)

Let me know how it goes.

Rgds
