Hi

Have you specified an image as OGP tag for this URL? Please see documentation on this page.

If you want to try, we have added an automatic image finder in current development version. It has 2 options: use first image and use largest image. Settings are located under the same "Social SEO" tab of sh404SEF configuration.
You can download it from the development versions download area.

Thanks for the reply.

I see the setting you are referring to but I humbly submit , it is impossible to manually set an image path URL for over 50,000 article links on my website.

All the links on my site do not have the og:image tag. The issue is not unique for the the one URL referenced in my initial post.

Is there another way to fix this? When will the 4.7.4.3353-dev be production ready. any timelines?

After installing the dev on a test site

1. There is no og:image in source unless there is an image in the content. (this is how you made it to work. ) But ...

2. Why not add a third option that uses Joomla's Full Article Image or intro article image found under the images and links Tab when adding content.

Thank you.

Hi

Indeed in the currently available dev version, the Full article image is not detected as we look only in the article content. We already have developed that, just not uploaded yet. I'll do that later today and post an update here.

Hi

You can download the latest dev version from the development versions download area, it should pick up Full image articles.

Will I be able to upgrade this Dev version when the stable one is ready?
I am asking be it says clearly on the download page that

All the software on this page is in a development state, only suited for use on development site, unless we explicitely asked you to do so.
Can i Install this on my live site?

I installed it. But did not have the option of selecting Full article Image.

Hi

There is no such option. Once Joomla has added the image to the page content, there is no way to know which one it is. This is why there are 2 options: use the first image found, or the largest. Just select one option and see which one gives the best results on your own site.

HMMM... This then means I am back to square one. It is either i set this Image URL by URL under SEO settings or I rather put my images in the content. You however stated in your response below that you have already developed full article image option.

Indeed in the currently available dev version, the Full article image is not detected as we look only in the article content. We already have developed that, just not uploaded yet. I'll do that later today and post an update here.

What happened to that?

Hi

HMMM... This then means I am back to square one.
Not at all.
It is either i set this Image URL by URL under SEO settings or I rather put my images in the content.
Absolutely NOT.

Images set in the "Full article images" are automatically detected.
