 Dear Weeblr support,

here is my web site: http://xxxx.gl/xxxx

Here is the problem: the text of the home page (concerning 2015 edition) is became a new article. You may see it in the right menu
if you click on "Le origini di Armenia Amica". The URL of this web page is: homepage.html
it should be: xxxx.html

If I go to "Sh404SEF: URL manager" I see both the URLS.
If I see "homepage.html" HTML I don't find Keywords and description.
While "xxxx.html" has both these Meta tags.

I succeed in updating Keywords and Description of the current home page (index.html);
but the TITLE is not updated.

The new TITLE should be: Armenia Amica 2016 Eventi Storia e Cultura Armena Treviso

If I scan my web site with Screaming Frog I may see tha I have the identical web pages:

The web page "xxxx.html" doesn't apper among the scanned urls.

I'll be gratefull for any help.
thank you very much.
Kind regards
Andrew

Hi

if you click on "Le origini di Armenia Amica". The URL of this web page is: homepage.html

it should be: xxxx.html
It can only become that if you delete the previously recorded URL (and any duplicates it may have showing in the URL manager).

When the URLs are right, we can talk about the meta data. If you change the meta data now, and the URLs change , then you may loose again the meta data.

I succeed in updating Keywords and Description of the current home page (index.html);
There should not be any /index.html on a Joomla site. WHere is that showing? where can I see this link? The home page is not listed in the URL manager, just because the home page doesn't have a URL. The home page is "/", the root URL.

The meta data for the home page is set with a dedicated button "Home page meta", found in the toolbar of sh404SEF.
The web page "xxxx.html" doesn't apper among the scanned urls.
It should not, unless you delete the previous SEF URL recorded for that article, as explained earlier.

Thank you for your relpy.
I'd need some information to solve this problem.
I attached Screaming Frog screenshot where you may see that home page has a duplicate.

Thank you very much.

Hi

I attached Screaming Frog screenshot where you may see that home page has a duplicate.
Well, it seems Screaming from is a bit confused.

If I look at http://www.xxxx.it/ and for instance http://www.xxxx.it/video-su-armenia-amica-a-treviso.html, they are entirely different pages, with different title, descriptions, etc

You should check what that software tells you first, it's simple, just test in your browser.

There are 2 specials URLs here:

http://www.xxxx.it/index.php: I encourage you also to test first: this page is indeed the same as http://www.xxxx.it/, but sh404SEF adds a canonical to http://www.xxxx.it/, so as to avoid duplicate content. I am surprised ScreamingFrog doesn't pick that up.

And then there is http://www.xxxx.it/homepage.html, and for this I already replied.
