Hello,
i have purchased this component but i can't use this since i have some troubles.

The site is http://www.xxxx.com/nuovo (first access credentials are: xxxx/xxxx).
superuser credentials are: xxxx/xxxx

I have renamed htaccess.txt in .htaccess ( i'll attacch the file) and i have set all options as in images attached but when i try to access to my site i have this error:

Not Found

The requested URL /index.php was not found on this server.

Can you help me to fix this?

Hi

This problem is not related to sh404SEF. It's actually a server configuration issue. I have disabled sh404SEF to be sure, and you have the same problem with just Joomla SEF.
Once you fix the problem with just Joomla SEF, then you can enable again sh404SEF, it will work with the same server config as Joomla.

I can't really help with your .htaccess configuration, as it's totally server-related. So I would suggest you talk to your hosting company for assistance: they are the ones that set up your server, they should be able to help you very easily.

Looking at your .htaccess, the only thing that looks suspicious, from my past experience, is this line:

RewriteBase /

As you are running your site in a sub-folder, this is probably not right. You can always try one of the following:

1 - Disable this line:

## RewriteBase /

2 - Set it to the subfolder

RewriteBase nuovo

3 - Set it to the subfolder, in an absolute way:

RewriteBase /nuovo

If none work, you will absolutely have to talk to your hosting company, and ask them what the correct value should be in this case, or if they require special instructions in the .htaccess file.
