Hi there,
another question: sh404SEF generates links with /all at the end. They end up in empty pages (eg see http://www.xxxx.nl/fotoreportages/lifestyle-zwangerschap/all/).

How can I prevent sh404SEF to create these?

rgrds,

Hi

1 - Where do you have this link on your site? on which page? please provide a link.
2 - What is the exact and full non-sef URL recorded for this SEF URL in the sh404SEF URL manager?

Hi,

On my website I do not have links to these urls, however they are generated and indexed..

one example is:
URL: http://www.xxxx.nl/fotoshoot/all/
Non-SEF: http://www.xxxx.nl/index.php?option=com_content&id=10&lang=nl&view=categories

But there are more, i think it has to do with category overview but don't know how to prevent them in sh404SEF.

thanks,
Boudewijn

Hi

Yes, you do. URLs are created when they are displayed on a page. And if that URL is indexed, then it means Google found it on your site.

That suffix, "all" is a setting under the Extensions -> Joomla section of the sh404SEF configuration. It is used to distinguish between a regular category link and a [ list all categories ] link.

You can clear that field if you want (and delete the corresponding URL in the URL manager, so that a new URL is created again), but most likely it means that these 2 different non-sef will now get rendered the same. Up to you.
