Hi

I am not sure why but some of the re-directs are not working. We have not changed anything on the website and everything was working well.

Here is an example of a page that does not work

http://www.xxxx.com/index.php?option=com_wrapper&view=wrapper&Itemid=39&walkID=5280

(it used to redirect to a much shorter URL)

Some the re-directs do work e.g.

http://www.xxxx.com/Sussex-Hospices-Trail-Part-3-Arundel-to-Goring-by-Sea-4612

( I have installed the latest version of SH404sef)

Are you talking about a redirect or a link on one of your page.

If this is a link on one of your page, which page exactly.

Also, can you see this "shorter URL" in the URL manager?

Sorry I am not using the right language

Nothing to do with 'Short Urls'

The SEF friendly URLs are not working - the resulting sef URLs were much shorter

The problem URLs can be reached from the following URL

http://www.xxxx.com/browse-and-search-for-walking-guides

Hi

ok, so if we look at the first one on that page, what you are saying is that you have, in the URL manager, an non-sef/SEF pair where:

the non-sef is:
index.php?option=com_wrapper&view=wrapper&Itemid=39&walkID=5330
and the SEF is: "some-short-url"?

Is this correct, do you have such record in the URL manager? (you can search for "&walkID=5330" to display it).

It is not in the URL manager -

I think that I may not be understanding how this works.

My developers will take a look at it tomorrow so I will see what they think and then get back to you.
