Hi

1 - What exact and full version of Joomla and sh404SEF are you using now?

2 -
a test site for upgrade to joomla 3.0
What do you mean exactly?

- Are you using an extension to migrate content from 2.x to 3?
- Are you using the same template?

3 -
Firstly i could enter the sefurl from the cp of sh404 (show 504 Gateway time out)
I don't understand what that means

4 -
the pagination of Virtuemart doesn't work at all
What does that mean? what happens? what URLs do you have and what happens when you click on them?

1. Joomla 3.4.6 and sh404SEF 4.7.1.3144 (i bought update today )
2.a. I upgrade joomla site and sh404 was already installed and the version i had was comp. with Joomla 3
b. I have changed template to a newer uptodate template and all the sef url look ok and the same as the older site
3. I press SEF URLs from sh404SEF Control panel adn after some sec of waiting show this message , I believe that try to open a page with a lot of url (not 20 p.x. listing)
4. I try to open the second page p.x. and show exacly the same products . The first page of category is http://xxxx.gr/03-ipobrixies-antlies-limaton-akatharton and the second and all the other is http://xxxx.gr/03-ipobrixies-antlies-limaton-akatharton?lang=el with exacly the same products.
Many thanks for your support

Hi

1 - Do you have many URLs in the db?

2 -
http://xxxx.gr/03-ipobrixies-antlies-limaton-akatharton?lang=el
That would mean you have a language configuration problem (there should not be any "lang=el" part).

3 - Does this happen with one of the standard Joomla templates?

Hi

1. Yes we have a lot of sef url , is there something that help me enter SEF URLS?
What? what do you mean by "enter SEF URLs"? why do you want to enter SEF URLs?

2. How could fix this issue that happen only when sh404sef is enable?
There's no reported problem for sh404SEF in both those areas, so what we are trying to find here is the problem on your site causing this.

Please answer on first question, it seems very important to me. Are you really "entering" URLs manually?

Hi

1 - I switched sh404SEF to display in "Slow server". You server seems a bit slow, you only had about 200 000 URLs and it couldn't display them.

2 - You were running with all caches on: module caching and site ground full page caching. You can't do that when developing, how are URLs changes going to be taken into account?

3 - As per my initial question, the Virtuemart pagination works very well with Joomla default template (see http://xxxx.gr/products-series/01-antlies-figokentres-epifaneias/results13-12.html for instance).

This is a bug in your template, which probably overrides the Joomla JPagination class.

Hi

Doth issue seems that have been fixed .

Do you do anything that help?
I didn't do anything for the Virtuemart problem. I simply switched to default template and checked that it worked.

If it works now also with the real template, then I think the problem is that you were developing with all cache systems enabled, and so you had bad data everywhere because of the caching. Just a guess.
Do not enable caching when you start developing.

I notice just now that in virtuemart include the word products-series in url p.x. http://xxxx.gr/products-series/01-antlies-figokentres-epifaneias.html that i don't want ( for not have 404 error) .
I'm not sure what you mean, but if "products-series" is a Virtuemart category, then maybe those settings can help:

After changing this setting, you must Purge URLs so that new ones are created.

I want to be show the category but not this word (products-series). I don't think this setting will help.

Hi

I have spent some looking at this "products-series" thing, but I can't find where it's coming from.

Regardless, I now know it's not coming from sh404SEF, as you get the same thing if you disable sh404SEF (currently it's disabled, so you can check for yourself).

I suggest you search your Virtuemart settings and products and categories names for that. I have done a few, but I don't see anything special.

The strange is that with cache off and sh404 - shlib enable the sef url still show in website...so i am not sure that this is from virtuemart and not from sh404 .
I could through sh404 redirect all the old url to new url including this "products-series"

Hi

No. Never. You have to solve the problem or live with it.

If you do all those redirects, it means all your site will be only accessed through redirects. That's terrible from an SEO standpoint.

I saw that you already did many redirects for other Virtuemart pages (those with "..flypage" at the end for instance. I don't know why you did that, but that not good.

where you find this redirects? because i don't know about?
I was thinking to do a htaccess redirect for google search to redirect to the new site. is that wrong for seo?
Please check why i can't see the site without sh404 , i disable it and still the site work with sh404 (sef urls).
