 Hi

I've used sh404sef for many years but on this site i just can't get it to rewrite the urls, they are all 404. I've tried many variations but can't get it to work.

Hi

Those errors are web servers 404 errors, unrelated to Joomla or sh404SEF.

It means URL rewriting on your apache server is not working. Either it's not enabled, or your .htaccess file is not working. That's not uncommon when using temporary addresses like you do.

You should fix the .htaccess, or contact your hosting company if you can't, surely they'll be able to help as they are the one setting up the web server.

To make things simpler, I would suggest that you disable sh404SEF for now. Just use Joomla SEF, when you've got that working, you can enable sh404SEF, it will work the same.

Rgds
