Hi,
I have a website with several categories (towns), each has a zoo item category module on the homepage called "Het laatste Nieuws" which shows news from that category, some news items have multiple categories and here is where it goes wrong.

Blaricum
http://www.xxxx.nl/blaricum
So all news items should have the following path:
http://www.xxxx.nl/nieuws/nieuws-cjg-blaricum/....

Hilversum
http://www.xxxx.nl/hilversum
So all news items should have the following path:
http://www.xxxx.nl/nieuws/nieuws-cjg-hilversum/...

Weesp
http://www.xxxx.nl/weesp
So all news items should have the following path:
http://www.xxxx.nl/nieuws/nieuws-cjg-weesp/....

etc.....

As you kan see it's random which category he generates in the url.

Please advise.

Hi

I have no real advise. We do not have a plugin for Zoo, and so we use whatever the Zoo router.php file produces for URLs.

If you have menu items for each of those news categories, one thing you can try is to change the Zoo settings under the "By components" configuration of sh404SEF:
Don't forget to purge URLs after changing this value, so that new URLs are created.

URLs will be different, but if you have the required menu structure, I think multiple items should get different URLs.

Please note however that this will lead to duplicate content for all those news (unless Zoo insert the correct canonical tag, to avoid that?)

I also see that currently have URLs with "../menu-ID-421" at the end, which is probably an attempt to workaround the issue. I suggest reverting those settings change when you start using "Use router.php with menu item".
