 Hi

I have changed a SEF URL in the back-end and thereafter used the purge button to get the new SEF URL to function in the front-end. The new SEF URL seems to work properly in the front-end. Anyhow the old SEF URL still seems to exist in the back-end. Please also see enclosed JPG-file.

Can I just delete the old SEF URL in the back-end?

With regards to the purging then the homepage has not been published yet and therefore should not cause any problems

best regards

Nina B.

Hi

I'm not sure what you are asking. SEF URLs are created when Joomla needs them to be displayed.

The real URLs in Joomla are the non-sef URLs. That's what Joomla creates and asks sh404SEF to translate to SEF before display.

You have manually modified one non-sef URL, but Joomla creates multiple similar non-sef URLs, and you should modify those alternative versions as well, if you want them to be published under the same public SEF URL.
