Hello,

I have sh404sef on my website.

I have 5 links that go to a blog layout out.

Two of the blog layout Urls looks like this...
http://www.xxxx.com/projects/commercial-office.html
http://www.xxxx.com/projects/education.html

But when I turn on sh404sef all the links to the blog layout pages above use the same URL of
http://www.xxxx.com/all-projects/

Is there a setting that I am missing?

Hi

OK, sounds pretty straightforward. sh404SEF does not use menu items for building URLs. Is "/projects" a menu item? And that "All projects" is the root category for your projects?

Normally, we use the categories (or articles) structure to build URLs, and you have settings under the "Extensions > Joomla" section of sh404SEF configuration to decide how categories and titles are included in URLs.
What are your settings there?

Be aware that you'll need to purge URLs if you make any changes that affect how URLs are built.

Hello,

I figured it out.

I have sub-categories under All-Projects.

I move all the sub-categories into the root and now it's working.

I hope this helps someone else.

You can do that, but instead, it was much easier to use the settings in sh404SEF intended exactly for this purpose, as suggested in my previous message:
