I get the error when trying to update:

There was an error uploading this file to the server.
Maximum PHP file upload size is too small: This is set in php.ini in both upload_max_filesize and post_max_size settings of your PHP settings (located in php.ini and/or .htaccess file).

Unable to find install package

I tried adjusting the php.ini file to more files and larger uploads, but nothing works. Please advise.

Hi

As per the error you're getting, your PHP settings don't allow uploading, so there's little we can do about that.

What do you mean by "Nothing works"? surely you can modify your PHP settings for upload_max_filesize and post_max_size?
If you can't, your hosting company is probably the best source of information?

As an alternative, the easiest and quickest way to update is of course the Joomla one-click updater; that wouldn't be subject to the upload restrictions and is much faster than having to download from our site then upload to yours.
