I am trying to install sh404 in a website (Joomla 3.4.5). I go through Extensions > Manage > Upload package file (4.7.1.3144_full) and it goes through the spinning Jooma icon, then stops at a white screen. I have to manually select the URL (../index.php?option=com_installer&view=install) and when it comes back, it says "sh404SEF requires the shLib system plugin to be enabled, but you appear to have disabled it. Please enable it again!"

The problem is, there is no shLib in my Plugins or anywhere else.

How can I force an install, or manually install shLib?

Thanks.

Hi

Do you have Josetta on that site? or did you have at some point in the past either Josetta or sh404SEF?

Yes, I have Josetta - K2. I'm not using it, do I need to remove it?

Hi

Hmm, is that just the Josetta - K2 plugin (that comes with K2) or is it the full Josetta extension. The full Josetta extension should also have shLib, but maybe an older version.

Do/did you have the full Josetta extension (https://weeblr.com/josetta)?

Whatever the response to the above, I would advise the following:

1 - Download the current dev version of sh404SEF from this page, install it and see if you get the same problem

2 - If you still get the same problem after #1, download shLIb from this page and install it (use the most recent version, 0.3.0).

I successfully installed the version you gave me (4.7.2.3156) and it says it installed successfully.

I made sure all sh404SEF modules were enabled, however sh404sef does not show up in the components menu.

Hi

ok, there was def something wrong with the first install for some reason. I'd suggest you uninstall it, then try again the new version.

I made sure all sh404SEF modules were enabled,
Were some of the plugins not enabled?

Ah, the Administrator Module was not published. As soon as I did, it came up. Thanks!
