Hi,

I am new to sh404sef. Today I purchased the component.

White configuring the system tells me that there are several plugins available for the automatic generation of META data. But, I can't find them (or very old ones, from 2010).

Would you give me a hint on where I can find the right plugins? I am digging thru the docs also, but didn't find the answers yet :-(

Hi

sh404SEF comes with one plugin for Joomla regular content and one for Virtuemart (don't know where you looked for 2010 date on them).

Those plugins do very specific things:
- on com_content, we rewrite some page title, and add a canonical on some cases where we're sure we can do it
- on virtuemart, we do about the same, working only with title

We will never automatically create a meta description. Description needs to be manually written, either directly in sh404SEF Title and meta manager, or, for instance, directly in the products or items concerned, in the extensions they were created with.
