 Hello,

Is there an easy automatic way within SH404sef to set the meta tag to noindex on all of the pagination pages within my blog? This is causing a duplicate content issue on my site according to siteliner.

Thank you,
john

Hi

1 - There's no automatic provision for this. You can do it however on a page by page basis.

2 - IMPORTANT: this advice is total b... In no way you should apply it. If you know what you're doing, based on how your pages can be accessed, you can use noindex, follow
You should absolutely not use "nofollow".

Along the same lines, I have a site I'm launching that uses Ad Agency from iJoomla. Sh404sef creates URLS for the ads, ex; adagencyads/click/11/3/21 -- How can I make sure these links are not indexed using SH404sef; they are not actual pages, just redirect links. I don't want bots to see those URLs and create false clicks.

Hi

If they really are redirects (ie 301 redirects), they cannot be indexed; Search engines only records the target. However, if they are 302 or 303, they can be indexed (though unlikely).
I assume iJoomla would use 301, but that's for them to confirm.

Thanks again, I sure hope they use the 301.
