Hello, i configured the social buttons plugin on a website.

It works fine with Chrome, Chromium, IE 11, Opera, but with Firefox 42.0 (saw on 2 different computers - W7 and Ubuntu), it only shows "Twitter" in plain text (no image), and there is no facebook buttons.

The weird thing is that on a virtual machine under W7, with Firefox 42.0, it works...

Can't understand what happen here...

Thank you.

Update :

Ubuntu - Firefox 42.0
It works when i disable "Use Tracking Protection in Private Windows" in privacy settings.
Does not work when it's enabled (?).

But,
Virtual machine W7 - Firefox 42.0
Buttons are present either is "Use Tracking Protection in Private Windows" enabled or not...

Of course, it doesn't work on my client's computer...

Update 2 : for information

I tried with hard-coded buttons in the index.php of the template. Same result.

It's clearly a Firefox issue.

The buttons are missing when history is set to "Never remember history" AND "Use Tracking Protection in Private Windows" is enabled.

History set to "Remember history" > Everything is ok.

Thank you for reading :-)

Hi

As you've gathered, we only insert a little bit of javascript in the page to cause the various networks to display their buttons, we don't display anything ourselves.

I assume this is indeed a bug in FF, but if so, it should be fixed quickly.
