Why do we have images path as 404 in 404 requests manager?

Some images don't display because of this url rewrite erorrs: http://xxxx.com/0435ehiqea
For example here: http://www.xxxx.ro/blog/

Please help asap.

Hi,

I think I figured out the issue. I set on JCHOtimize plugin the HTML Minification Level option from "Ultra" to "Advanced" and it seems to be ok now.

Hi

Glad you sorted it out. Just a comment:

Why do we have images path as 404 in 404 requests manager?
Because joomla, your templates or some extensions create incorrect links to these images (sometimes CSS or JS also). They use relative links instead of absolute, this is wrong and should end up in a 404, which is why they show in the 404 manager.

So the fact you see them in the 404 manager is just a consequence: sh404SEF records those errors so that you can fix them. It doesn't create them.

Closing this ticket now, feel free to open a new one as needed. If you do so, please mention this ticket number in the new one.
