Hi,

I can't find the rewriting mode in sh404SEF version 4.7.0.3065.
Can you please tell me where to find it? I am running Joomla 2.5.28.

Hi Janice,

This setting was removed in last release, as it was basically only duplicating the corresponding Joomla setting, and causing confusion sometimes because users would forget to also set the Joomla setting (which is needed by some extensions).

So you just set Joomla SEF settings correctly, and we use that.

Thank you for your reply. Since the last upgrade I notice there is an index.php in all the sef urls even though I have "Use URL rewriting" set to yes. How do I get the index.php to be removed?

Hi

That shouldn't happen. There was a case were the config was not always properly transferred when upgrading (are you under Joomla 2.5?)

If so, please download and update the current version from this page, that should fix it.

Please let me know.
