is there anyway to prevent the system from creating duplicates for virtue mart(or any web page)? Currently causing problems at checkout. The real issue is a matter of the ajax not working with SEF on.

sh404SEF never creates any duplicates. Never. It only transform existing non-sef urls in their corresponding SEF URL.

The real issue is a matter of the ajax not working with SEF on.That' usually a bug in the javascript involved, which uses relative URLs. We can probably identify the problem by checking out a page where the problem can be seen.
