 Hi There,

After not having used SH404SEF since 2011 I decided to give it a new try recently, but am running into something that I can't seem to work around.

I'd like to use SH404SEF as a replacement for RSSEO, because of the extra options SH404SEF has regarding OpenGraph images and other social options. However, I do not want to change the URL's for my existing site.

What SH404SEF does i recreate my URL's and set the old URL's as aliases. My question is; can't I keep my exisiting URL's as MAIN url's?

Perhaps it's useful to add that we mainly use Zoo as content platform instead of joomla articles.

Hope you can help me out.

Regards,

Marco

sh404SEF wouldn't do that on its own. What is creating aliases?

As for the general answer, it's no. Very simply because to do all our stuff, we need to have a database of URLs. Defaul Joomla SEF system don't store URLs in a database table (and this has advantages), but one problem with that is that we don't know what those URLs are, there isno list nowhere, and we can't attach any data (meta data, open graph, etc) to them (unless you manually do this: enter a non-sef/sef pair, attach meta data to it).
