Hi - I just launched a site live. Four days before that, I setup the GA property and configured it into the site in dev (did not test as it was off-net). Just launched the site live, went to check GA and see realtime 0 visitors now. (I have 4 browsers open and refreshing). View source shows the GA tracking code and correct property ID.

Not sure what to check next as this is the first time SH404SEF has done this to me and I've used it numerous times in the past.

Thank you in advance!

Site: http://xxxx.it

Cheers.

Hi

View source shows the GA tracking code and correct property ID.
If you see the Analytics code in your page source HTML, then that's the extent of what sh404SEF does.

As you can see in your developer console, the javascript is loaded properly, and there's no error happening.

This is truly weird. I was doing google webmaster tools for something else and decided to add this site to there as well. It had me verify and allowed me to use GA as a verification method. As soon as I did that GA started catching traffic. You're of course correct, I saw the code - just had no idea what was going on... if your other users run into this, have them setup the site in Webmaster Tools and verify the site. That should fix it.

Close this out and thanks for the quick reply.

Hi

That sounds weird indeed, you don't need to validate anything with Analytics. Anyway, glad it works now.
