Hi,

I need to add a suffix of .php to our urls, and have always done this through sh404sef configuration.

For this to work I have found that the main joomla configuration ' Adds Suffix to URL
' needs to be set to No.

This works fine although it is different to what you recommend at page https://weeblr.com/documentation/products.sh404sef/4/getting-started/joomla-settings.html

With the new version of sh404sef it still works correctly but on the main sh404sef screen there is now an error message:
"Joomla settings are probably not correct. Joomla! and sh404SEF SEF URLs settings don't match. This is not required by sh404SEF but some extensions may not work properly. "

This is also due to the 'global configuration' Adds Suffix to URL being set to no while sh404sef configuration says I do want a suffix.

So the question is - can I ignore the error message because it is just incorrect or is there a better setup I should be using. The pages fail to load if I set 'global configuration' Adds Suffix to URL to yes.

Thanks

Hi

Well, if it doesn't work, then you should ignore the warning. The message is clear:
This is not required by sh404SEF but some extensions may not work properly.
