Hello, I have new website and installed the latest sh404SEF component.
In previous versions, there was a setting in the 'Configuration' to use .htaccess file wihout "index.php".

I don't see this setting and the URLs are adding "index.php" to the URLs.
I am using .htaccess file and I have tried to uncomment "Rewritebase /" but it makes no difference.
Can someone offer some suggestions?

Hi

This setting was removed, as it was now only a duplicate of the Joomla setting. So it's the Joomla SEFconfiguration which is used now.

Meaning if you don't want to use an .htaccess file, you set the Joomla setting "Use URL rewriting" to No (on Joomla global configuration page). If you have an .htaccess file, then you set it to Yes.
