Dear Weeblr,

First off, thank you for sh404! Works like a charm :).

I have a small problem. It looks like my feed URL isn't working. After enabling sh404 with the yoonique plugin, it leaves out the ?format=feed part of the url, making it not load the page (not even a 404). If I manually add the ?format=feed, it does work.. What is going wrong?

Cheers,

Tim

Hi

I'm not sure I understand what you say:

1 - what's the "yoonique" plugin?
2 - what URL are you talking about? please list a full non-sef URL and the corresponding SEF URL
3 - What do you mean by "don't work"? what happens?.

Hi,

Thank you for your quick reply. I'm sorry I mentioned Yoonique, it's the plug-in I use to make Zoo work with sh404 (or at least work with it the way I want it too, but even without the plug-in the behavior is the same).

What happens is the following:
With sh404 working, the feed code is this:
<link href="/xxxx/feed/rss/conversion" rel="alternate" type="application/rss+xml" title="RSS 2.0" />
The link produces a white screen error 500, server error.

Without sh404 'on' the following code is provided:
<link href="/conversion/feed/rss/xxxx/conversion?format=feed" rel="alternate" type="application/rss+xml" title="RSS 2.0" />
It works.

The strange thing is, that if I go to the sh404 url, and append it with ?format=feed, it suddenly works..
/xxxx/feed/rss/conversion

That's my problem :).

Thank you for helping!

Hi

It matters that you mentioned using a 3rd-party plugin for Sobi, as it means that sh404SEF is not building the URLs, but instead that plugin, meaning we have little control on what it does.

What you should look at is the non-sef URL associated with "/xxxx/feed/rss/conversion" in the URL manager. Does it have "&format=feed" in it?

It should. If not, you may talk to Yoonique to see why the format=feed query var is removed from the stored non-sef URL.

Hi,

The problem also occurs when I've shut the yoonique plugin off (and emptied the cache).

The non sef URL is the following:
index.php?option=com_zoo&Itemid=109&app_id=1&category_id=3&format=feed&lang=en&task=feed&type=atom

So it does have the &format=feed in it. The problem also is that when visiting this URL, it gives a 500 error, not a 404...

Hope you can help!

Cheers

Hi!

So as with your reply from the previous ticket, I disabled Advanced Module Manager, and suddenly it worked.. So the problem is over there..

I'm gonna pick this up with NoNumber.

Cheers and thanks for the insight!
