I updated to the latest version of sh404sef released today. I was also going to update the access keys n my Joomla dashboard.

When I tried to save the configuration, I got this error

Error
Could not save data. Error: Another article from this category has the same alias.

Hi

This error message would only show if the name and/or alias of the 404 page article, in sh404SEF custom content category, has been modified, or if the article has been duplicated.

Can you check that?

Hi

Can I get a super admin access to your site backend?
Can be a temporary one that you delete afterwards.

Hi

There is only one page not found article and I haven't changed it.
Actually you do have one article called "404". It's been trashed but it's still there, so Joomla doesn't let sh404SEF save its own 404 article.

If you delete that article, it should go fine.
As a side note, the sh404SEF 404 page is not used anyway, and that's because you have selected "Use Joomla router" for at least one extension (Ozio Gallery in your case); When you do that, you ask sh404SEF to use Joomla router, but when you use Joomla router, you also get Joomla error page, which we can't reliably intercept so far. Just to let you know. You certainly don't want to change your OzioGallery setting in sh404SEF as this would mean changing URLS, unless the site hasn't launched yet.

Thanks. The site is live. This may have changed since, but when I installed Ozio gallery, it wouldn't work with the sh404sef enabled. I usually leave sh404sef as the router unless I run into an issue.

Hi

As long as you're aware of it, we're fine ;)

Mos times for these cases, you may first try to leave the default handler but select "Use router.php".
If that doesn't work, then switch to using Joomla router.
