Hello

I just updated to the last version and now i get a message

Joomla! and sh404SEF SEF URLs settings don't match.

I've checked every page inside sh404sef but i can't figure out whats going on

I didn't change anything and until i did the update i didn't receive any error either

Any idea where to look to get this fixed?

Thanks

Hi

The message says that the Joomla SEF settings and the sh404SEF settings don't match.

That doesn't mean the problem is in the sh404SEF settings.

In your case, most likely, it means that the Joomla SEF settings are incorrect. Maybe you haven't enabled Joomla SEF URL.

THis is a warning that was added in this version, it was not there before.

I do have JoomlaSEF enabled, i always use that on our sites, also enable URL rewriting with htaccess on all sites

Just did some test and as soon i disable sh404 URL optimization the message disappears

This makes no sense at all to me

I also miss the button where i can configure rewriting in sh404, where did that go?

Yes, that's normal, if sh404SEF is disabled, there's nothing to compare against

It was removed. There's no need for it, as it was just a duplicate of Joomla own setting. It was only a remain of the times when Joomla didn't have SEF URL at all.

I do have JoomlaSEF enabled, i always use that on our sites, also enable URL rewriting with htaccess on all sites
There are 2 settings checked basically:
- whether Joomla SEF is on
- whether "html" suffix is the same in Joomla and sh404SEF. If Joomla html suffix is on, you must have a ".html" or similar in the corresponding sh404SEF setting. If Joomla html suffix is off, then the sh404SEF setting must be cleared.
