 Hello,

I use sh404SEF on 4 fresh instances of Joomla 3.4.x without any problem.

I now have to migrate from Joomla 1.5, without sh404SEF.
So I cleaned all my articles and menus alias, installed a fresh Joomla 3.4.x et migrate all my datas with SP Upgrade extension.
At this point, with the basics SEO Joomla functions, I can use the website.

Then, I had installed the sh404SEF module et replicate the same configuration of the others Joomla.

Now, all my menus link have a href="/" attribute.

Have you got an idea about this problem ?

Hi

No idea, a site is a site. Did the site has sh404SEF before?

Could you please provide us with superadmin credentials to your website. You can create a temporary account, and delete it afterwards, but it must have superuser level.

Thanks and regards

Hi,

The original Joomla 1.5 don't use sh404SEF.

You can use the account xxxx/xxxx on http://xxxx.fr/administrator/index.php

Thank you for support.

Hi

I can't see anything. It most certainly has to do with the migration process, but I can't understand the problem from the admin.

Can you install akeeba backup and do a backup? That way tomorrow I can download the backup and install on my local machine, to be able to debug step by step through Joomla code.

Rgds

Hi

This is indeed happening because of the upgrade process (I guess). The problem is that all your articles do not belong to a category. That's ok, up to a point, with Joomla wich bases URLs on menu items, but not with sh404SEF.

This will totally breaks things on the site in the future such as ACL for instance.

The fix is simple, just move your content to a category. You can use the "Uncategorised" category, or create a "Content category", which I would recommend.
This can be done in one-click with the Joomla batch processing in the article manager.
