 Hi there,

I had an old joomla 2.5 site and in the progress of updating it I had to first make a clean joomla 3 installment and then transfer data from old to new joomla

I now have to also transfer sh404SEF to the new clean joomla site with all data intact. How do I best approach this? Install a clean sh404SEF on joomla 3 and then manual eksport/import from old joomla copy to the new?

Hi

Well, if content has been imported with same titles and categories, there should be nothing to import, URLs are going to be created the same way, so you should only just check that everything went well.

If you have custom URLs, then you can import/export, but it will only work if your items have the same ids, which may not always be the same. Likewise for custom meta data.
