Hi there, I have problem when i install the component then it generates "en" after the .com/en/
it is giving me problem to load the site correctly. and not good for SEO. am using only one language.
Please help.

Hi

Many times this issue comes from the language setup in Joomla. You have to make sure the language of your site is set under the "Content" tab of sh404SEF configuration. Usually, you will still have "English" there, while your site language may not be english (en-GB).

Please add your site language, then unpublish the English language. Then purge sh404SEF URLs so that new URLs are recreated.

i try to fix the language part it fixed but new thing is happening. my site not loading properly.
i am sending you the backend login information so please test for me when you uninstall the component then see the site, then looks fine the way should look. but when you install the component then home page changed and image module do not load.
Here is the temp access for you.

Hi

At first, I found the following:

1 - The English language was disabled under the "Content" language tab. What I asked is that you make it your site language. If your site is in english, then English should be selected there.

2 - The Language filter system plugin was enabled. This is for multilingual sites only, and it should not be enabled.

3 - sh404SEF was an old version, so I updated. We can't discuss if you don't run the current version of an extension!

4 - You don't have to uninstall sh404SEF to test or check. You just set "Enable URL optimization" to "No", and it doesn't do anything anymore.

5 - When sh404SEF is enabled (after fixing the problems above and Purging URLs), the only problem I can see is the "Home" link is "/home" instead of being the normal "/". This is because you had set the sh404SEF "Home page URL" setting to "https://www.xxxx.com/home/", instead of leaving it empty as it should (please read tooltip or documentation) for use of this setting.

Thanks for your help, site works fine. but i have other issue now when i want to do something in the component like edit or purge then there is no option appear dialog box shows empty.
please take a look for me. thanks. i realy appreciate.

I can see that, but it looks like an external cause. sh404SEF was working very fine last time I connected. What have you changed/installed/udpated?

Ah OK, I continued playing a bt with it and the problem is on your web server configuration. You have it configured to not display iframes.

Have your configured correctly and all should go back to normal.
