Hi there,

as a sample for my question: I am accessing (or rather trying to access) http://www.xxxx.com.na/programm/
This results in a 404 error, which recommends going to /programm/ - which is exactly the URL I tried to acces. Why is sh404SED recommending an URL that - obviously - does not exist?

Many thanks
Christian

Hi

What do you have under the programm/ URL under the URL manager?
If the programm/ URL is in the URL manager, and properly associated with a non-sef URL, then sh404SEF can recommend it. If the content associated with that non-sef does not exists, or is unpublished, then Joomla will generate a 404 later on, but we can't really now that.
The fix is to delete the programm/ URL from the URL manager.
But again, what's the full record in the URL manager for programm/?

/programm in URL manager is leading to index.php?option=com_content&Itemid=750&id=0&lang=de&view=category

bit it should lead to index.php?option=com_content&Itemid=750&id=109&lang=de&view=article

But do not ask me why and how that URL is generated..

Hi

Well you know why this is happening now!

As for the URL having an id of 0, it means somewhere on your site you have that link (index.php?option=com_content&Itemid=750&id=0&lang=de&view=category) and the URL is created there.

If you can't find the page where this URL is located, to fix it, maybe next version of sh404SEF can help you has we have added a feature which records where URLs are found. It should be released within days.
