Hello!

I do not see the 404 page specified in the SH404SEF configuration but a 404page from our RocketTheme Anacron template. Within that template there is no configuration to disable that the 404 page should not be generated by the template.

Is there any other place in Joomla or SH404 that the 404page gets handled by SH404?

Cheers

Hi

If sh404SEF is enabled, it takes over the 404 page automatically. The only situation where that wouldn't happen is if you changed some of the default settings on that page: https://weeblr.com/images/screenshots/XkpBl7goxCvWS4vqN0lCUMTS03hFxS.png

If any one (just one is enough) of the selects in the first column is set to "Use Joomla router", then sh404SEF is disabled, and cannot be used. Basically, you are asking sh404SEF to use the Joomla router. When you use the Joomla router, you get the Joomla error page (which can indeed be styled by your template).

Unless you have a specific reason, those settings should stay at their defaults (Use Joomla handler)

Hi!

Yes I turned of the SH404 handling for uddeim because the SEF urls coming from Joomla were better looking. ;-) I turned it back again. Now I do see that 404 is handled by SH404 which is great but I did not see a way to change the uddeim SEF urls which I do get now. They are not within the URL manager listed. i.e. /index.php/component/com_uddeim/Itemid,31/id,1/view,select/

Any chance to rename these uddeim urls?

Thanks
Frank

Hi

Depends whether Uddeim has a router.php file. How does its URLs look like when sh404SEF is disabled and you have Joomla SEF on.
(BTW, you should always have Joomla SEF on when sh404SEF is on).
