Dear Support,

I changed the SEO url of a web page from:
http://www.xxxx.it/sponsor-ed-enti-patrocinatori-di-armenia-amica-a-treviso.html
to
www.xxxx.it/enti-patrocinatori-di-armenia-amica-a-treviso.html

First of all I changed the alias of menu item without success.
Then I changed the link through Sh404sef and now I have two URLs working.

The last URL is inside the text "Patrocinatori di Amenia Amica" on the right menu of the layout.

I changed the URL and now both urls are working.
I'd like the new URL is inside the text "Patrocinatori di Amenia Amica" , while it remained the old link now.

Menus are not used to build URLs. At all.

I'd like the new URL is inside the text "Patrocinatori di Amenia Amica" , while it remained the old link now.

That's not dependant on sh404SEF. It all depends on how you created the link there. Is this a module or a menu?

As we discussed on another ticket, Joomla will make SEF URL of links if they are created in the form index.php?option=com_content&id=xxxxxx
